FAQs
How do I enroll in classes?
Click on the Enroll Now button. You will be redirected to a registration form where you can sign up for one or more of our classes. At the end of your registration, you will be directed to enter your credit card information and make your payment.
How do I pay for classes?
DPSA uses a monthly auto-pay system. Once you enroll tuition is auto-charged on the 1st of the month. If you enroll after the start date, tuition is prorated for classes you may have missed.
What if a student is sick or misses a class?
Students who are not feeling well are encouraged to stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours and no longer have symptoms that would be contagious. Once a student is feeling better, they may schedule a make-up class in the same level of dance at your earliest convenience.
If a student is injured, we strongly encourage them to come to class and watch. This allows them to take notes, see their friends, and continue learning.
How long is the class session?
Thirty-four(34) weeks starting in the fall and concluding with the spring recital. Summer Session is 6- weeks in June and July.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Once you are enrolled that spot is reserved for you for the duration of the season. All missed classes can be made up in a comparable or lower-level class. Credits or refunds will not be given for dropped or missed classes. If you are dismissed for un-sportsman-like behavior by the dancer or parent, no refund or credit will be given. In cases of moving or medical emergency, credit may be given upon receipt of a doctor’s certificate. Adjustments are made by number of classes taken vs. number of classes remaining in the season. If a student needs to drop (i.e., illness or moving) written notification is required prior to the 5th of the month.
Students who wish to withdraw from classes at DPSA must submit a written withdrawal request to the administration office. This request must be received no later than the 20th of the current month to be considered for withdrawal for the following month. Exceptions to this policy may be granted in extenuating circumstances, such as medical emergencies or relocation. Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing along with supporting documentation and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the DPSA administration.
