What programs does Davis Parks School of Arts offer?

We offer a wide range of arts education programs, including dance, music (voice and instrumental), fine arts, and theater. Our classes are designed for students of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced performers.

What ages do you accept for classes?

Most of our programs begin at age 18 months (child/grown-up), with specialized youth, teen, and adult classes available.   Age requirements vary by discipline, so please check individual class descriptions for details.

Do students need prior experience to enroll?

Not at all! Many of our students begin with no prior training. We offer classes for beginners as well as programs designed for intermediate and advanced artists.

Enrollment & Registration

How do I register for classes?

Registration can be completed online through our website. Select your program, choose your class, and follow the steps to enroll.

When do new sessions begin?

Sessions run year-round with seasonal start dates—typically Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Specific dates are posted on our website in each department. 

Is there a waitlist if a class is full?

Yes. If a class reaches capacity, you’ll have the option to join the waitlist. We notify waitlisted students immediately when a spot becomes available or additional classes are added.

Can I try a class before enrolling?

 We offer free trial classes for most programs. Click this link to schedule a free trail.

Tuition & Payments

How much do classes cost?

Tuition varies by program length, class type, and discipline. A full breakdown is available on our Tuition page.

Do you offer payment plans or financial aid?

Yes, we offer monthly payment plans for 12-36 week classes. Though we do not provide financial aid, we work with ACE Ohio and Ohio Direct to ensure that all students have the opportunity to enjoy the arts.

Are there discounts for multiple classes or siblings?

Yes! We offer multi-class discounts per student within any specific genre. We do not offer family or sibling discounts. 

Class Policies

What is your attendance and makeup class policy?

Regular attendance is encouraged for steady progress. Makeup classes are during the same session as the missed class and must be scheduled through the office.

Programs & Curriculum

What styles of dance, music, and fine arts do you teach?

We offer ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, tap, vocal performance, instrumental instruction, drawing, painting, mixed media, theater performance, and much more.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes. Private lessons in music, dance, and fine arts are available upon request. Some restrictions may apply.  Please contact us for more information. 

Are there performance or recital opportunities?

Absolutely! We offer annual showcases, seasonal recitals, art exhibitions, and theater productions for students who wish to perform or display their work.

How are students placed into the appropriate skill level?

Placement is based on age, experience, and instructor evaluation. Some programs and levels may require a brief assessment.

How are instructors selected?

Our faculty members are experienced, professionally trained artists and educators. Each instructor undergoes a thorough interview, audition, and background check.

What qualifications do your teachers have?

Our teachers hold degrees or professional experience in their respective fields and are dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment.

Mon – Thurs 3:00-8:00, Friday 4:00-7:00 Sat 9:00-1:00 and Sun 11:00-1:00
